Reagan was designed for Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine. Reagan embodies numerous techniques in bear making. He is fully jointed and has a "bobble jointed" head to typify a well used bear of long ago. His paws are constructed of Rexine, which is a vintage fabric used many years ago for car seat, baby buggies and furniture seats. He is holding his very own quilt created from antique type fabrics. There are a very limited number of kits available to make Reagan.

Bogie was created to represent Humphry Bogart in the classic movie, Casablanca. From his trench coat to his black leather shoes, he is truly "Bogie". Bogie is created from German mohair and has German wool felt paws. He is fully jointed, poly filled and has German glass eyes. Bogie has a key wound music box in his back that plays the wonderful song "As Time Goes By" from the movie Casablanca. Bogie was honored to be both a TOBY and Golden Teddy nominee. His price $295.00.
Golli is one of my Wrangler series. Golli, who is teddy's best friend, is created from German wool felt with German glass eyes. He is fully jointed and poly filled. His vest and chaps are handmade from deer skin and sheep skin. Golli's red hair is Tibetan sheep fur. He is ready to help the other Wranglers ride the range. Rope him in for $195.00

Fitzwilliam is a representation of an old "love worn" bear. He is fully jointed with a double jointed head to simulate the look of a love worn bear. His eyes are vintage shoe buttons and his body is excelsior and poly filled. His paws are of antique Rexine which adds to the distressed look of an old bear. Fitzwilliam is crudely "repaired" as if a small child of long ago loved him so much that he had to try to repair him. He is featured, along with his larger brothers, Benjamin, Patrick, Edward and McDougle, in "Making Teddy Bears" by Paige Gilchrist. Fitzwilliam was honored to be a TedWorldwide nominee and we traveled to Germany for the award show and banquet. His price is $195.00.
Miss Star and Tex are resting after an exciting Rodeo. Miss Star is 16" tall and Tex is 21" tall in their leather cowboy boots. Miss Star has German glass eyes and Tex has shoe button eyes. Both are fully jointed, poly filled and are created from German mohair. Miss Star is wearing a handmade skirt, matching scarf and deerskin vest. Tex has chaps of deerskin and sheep. Benjamin, Patrick and Edward are all 18 inches tall. They are fully jointed and constructed of German mohair. They are softly stuffed to simulate a well loved old bear. Their paws are of antique Rexine to further enhance the "old" look. Their eyes are antique shoe buttons and they have a growler in their tummy. They are featured in "Making Teddy Bears" by Paige Gilchrist along with McDougle the compass bear and their smaller brother Fitzwilliam. Price each $195.00.
Corrigan stands 15 and a half inches tall in his leather boots. He is created from English mohair and watches the sky through shoe-button eyes. Corrigan is fully jointed, has wool felt paws and is poly filled. He is wearing a hand made leather flight jacket, with a handmade flight scarf. His pants are handmade and his cap is made from an authentic WWII army shirt. He stands by his reproduction metal WWII bomber plane. He is $295.00.

They fit him perfectly, except for his poly-fill and pellet tummy that peeks out. Patches is created from sparse, curly German mohair. Patches is fully jointed. His eyes are shoe-buttons. One of the more interesting bears is one I call "One Shoe Bear". I have found antique shoes and socks over the years, but sometimes I find a beautiful "One Shoe" with no mate. I use these single shoes on a bear, usually with an antique sweater or top and both socks. That way, if you ever find the shoe's mate, he will have both socks! Size of the bear, clothes and shoe varies by availability.
